PULLAI × RIVAL STREET
PRIVATE & CONFIDENTIAL — PREPARED FOR DAVID ANDERSON
A blueprint · August 2026

The judgment of four decades.
The leverage of a machine.

Rival Street sells one thing the market cannot commoditise: earned judgment. Today, every dollar of it costs an hour of your time. This is the blueprint for an advisory firm where you do only what only you can do — and a machine does everything else.

SCROLL
01

The constraint

~1,800 hours / year

The hard ceiling of a solo practice. Every engagement, every proposal, every board pack read — it all passes through the same hands.

A boutique built on “small teams, no multi-layered delivery structures” is the right thesis — the large firms are already putting AI behind their pyramids. The missing half is the factory: without it, the firm’s speed is constant. And constant speed, while the industry accelerates, is relative decline.

The scarce asset isn’t analysis. It’s judgment, relationships and reputation. Everything upstream and downstream of those three can be industrialised.

02

The firm as a ladder

Read the firm like a physicist reads motion: each rung below explains why the rung above changes. Work moves the result. AI changes the pace of the work. Workflows make that pace structural. Strategy decides which workflows exist.

Rival Street today is strong at the top and bottom of the ladder — and empty in the middle. That gap is the entire project.

RESULTThe firmMandates, revenue, reputation, network — the position built so far.
1stThe workYour hours. Today, 100% of delivery passes through them.
2ndThe AICopilots in every flow. Measured by change of pace — not output.
3rdThe workflowsThe factory: standing pipelines that make acceleration structural, not episodic.
4thThe strategyDecides which workflows exist — and what becomes product.
5thThe knowledgeFour decades of judgment. World-class — and today it lives in one head.
03

Two engines, every flow

Interior · compounds · never forgets

The Brain

Your forty years of frameworks, decisions, comparables and language — captured, structured, and consultable. Every new engagement feeds it automatically; every copilot drafts from it, in your voice, with your criteria. Strictly partitioned by client.

  • Every session transcribed, every deliverable ingested
  • Engagement n+1 starts from the residue of engagement n
  • The firm stops being worth “David’s future hours” — it becomes an asset

The Brain remembers.

Exterior · refreshes daily · never sleeps

The Radar

A market-intelligence factory across the sectors you serve: a living map of every player — funds, insurers, banks, PE firms — their open issues, the trends rising on board agendas, and the trigger events that create demand: a CEO change, a poor result, a regulator’s move, an announced deal.

  • Live dossier on every named account
  • Buying triggers detected the day they happen
  • Daily digest; a one-page weekly synthesis for you

The Radar sees.

Every copilot consumes both: the Brain supplies the criteria, the Radar supplies the state of the world.

04

What the machine does

Delivery · PE

Due diligence

An agent ingests the data room, tests it against your prior theses, and drafts the risk/upside map in hours. You spend your time on the three questions the machine cannot answer.

Delivery · Boards

Board advisory

A reader computes the deltas in every pack — against last month, against the Brain — and drafts the five questions you would ask. The pack processes itself; the session is yours.

Delivery · CEOs

Follow-through

A monitor installed at the client tracks every commitment between sessions. “Follow-through to outcomes” stops being a promise and becomes machinery.

Growth

Business development

A live CRM over your network: every meeting prepared, every proposal drafted in your voice within hours, every touch suggested with a legitimate reason. The machine proposes; you decide.

Voice

Presence

Your thinking — distilled from sessions and mandates, anonymised — becomes articles, a letter, a public voice. Minutes of review per piece, not hours of writing.

Operations

Back office

Scheduling, invoicing, compliance, travel — an administrative agent runs it and escalates only exceptions. Zero administrative hires. Ever.

The client always gets you. The machine is invisible — what scales is your capacity to be present.

The moment

06

The economics

One metric governs the whole project: revenue per hour of your time. Hours stay flat at the ceiling; the machine takes the mechanical share of every engagement, so each additional mandate costs marginally fewer of your hours.

The hours-per-engagement curve falls toward an asymptote: the irreducible judgment — what only you can do. It never reaches zero. That floor is not a limitation. That floor is the product.

The path

I

Instrument & capture

Stand up the measurement spine — the firm’s vital series — and begin the corpus: your archive digitised, every session captured. Brain v1.

Gate

You see your own firm in the instrument. A real baseline exists.

II

The commercial nervous system

Live CRM over your network, the proposal engine, the Radar, and the editorial engine for your public voice.

Gate

Pipeline and audience visibly depart from baseline.

III

Delivery copilots

Standing pipelines per engagement type; a copilot trained on the corpus drafts, you judge. One real mandate delivered through the factory.

Gate

Mechanical hours per engagement measurably fall.

IV

Productise & retain

Stable workflows become fixed-scope products; projects convert to monitored retainers — the machine watches daily, you interpret monthly.

Gate

Recurring revenue exists and grows. Revenue per hour accelerates.

Each phase is small, gated by you, and priced separately. Phase I proves itself.

You advise boards on AI.
Your own firm becomes the proof.

A firm that counsels CEOs, boards and investors on applied AI — and itself runs as a fully AI-powered practice — walks into every room with its credentials already established. This project isn’t overhead. It’s your best case study.

WE BUILD THE FACTORY. YOU KEEP THE JUDGMENT.
